Getting Started

I started this blog sometime ago and chickened out. Who would want to read it anyway? But I am feeling the need for some kind of outlet. I am sure people on facebook are tired of "listening" to me. Not that I think anyone will read what I write on here, but who knows?!

Just a bit about myself: I am a Roman Catholic Christian. I used to say I was a proud one, but now I describe myself as a humble one. Every day I am humbled by my faith. I found the Catholic Church or rather, she found me about 6 years ago. My husband introduced me when we first got married but it took me 10 years to go through all the hoops and admit that this is where I am meant to be.

My fabulous husband and I will have been married 15 years on St. Valentine's Day. We have 3 awesome kids. Maegan is 19, Heather is 16 and J.R. is 10. Chris is the First Holy Communion catechist at our parish and is going to school to be a Permanent Deacon, only 6 years to go! I am the Parish School of Religion Coordinator and I babysit during the week.

We stay busy in our lives but we like it that way. People look at us and think that we do not have much. They don't realize that we do! We are rich in our love for each other and most importantly, our love for God.
